Every Vote Counts
How you vote helps us meet our conservation goals.

Washington's citizens have opportunities throughout the year to vote for their conscience for green initiatives, issues, and candidates.

Tahoma Audubon does not endorse candidates due to the type of non-profit status we have. However, we can and often do endorse or oppose issues that appear as ballot initiatives and referendums. When this happens, the particular issue is central to our mission statement, felt to be of importance to our members, and is first reviewed and a recommendation made by our Conservation Committee, and then reviewed and voted on by our Board of Directors as desired.

Voting Green resources:

If you are looking for more information on voting green, the Washington Conservation Voters website, as well as the Sierra Club Cascade Chapter website are good resources for informed decision-making on local and state issues.

Voter Registration resources:

Have you moved? Are you not registered to vote? Residents of Pierce County can call 1-800-446-4979 or visit the state's Voter Registration page for information on ways to register, ways to vote, changing your address or name, and more.
